YWCA Kisumu Branch is a local chapter of the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Kenya working to empower women, young women, and youth across Kisumu County. YWCA Kisumu Branch was founded in 1968 and officially launched in 1972.

Mission
To develop the leadership and collective power of girls and women to achieve social, political, and economic empowerment based on Christian values.
The branch was established to bring together women and girls from different religious, ethnic, and social backgrounds to work collectively toward improving their living standards and opportunities.
Since its founding, the branch has served as:
- A safe space for women and girls
- A skills training and empowerment center
- A community meeting and advocacy platform
- A youth development hub
Located in the heart of Kisumu City, the branch also provides accessible facilities including hostel accommodation, conference venues, office space, and community grounds that serve individuals, organizations, and institutions at reasonable prices.
Over more than five decades, the branch has played a significant role in transforming the lives of young women in the Lake Region through training, mentorship, and community engagement programs.
