Meru Branch

Introduction

The YWCA Meru branch is serves the Meru County with its operations spanning into the interior Meru regions that are prominent with harmful practices such as Female Genital Mutilation.

Facilities

  • Hostel facilities
  • There has been a two bedroom residential house  rented per month but currently left vacant. More renovations needed to make it attract the clients.
  • Lease of an office to CGA  (Cereal Growers Association) which was made  effective from 1st July 2019.
  • There were also farm products produced within the organization premises among them Napier grass sold to bring in income as well as bananas used in the organizations kitchen.
