Kenya updated it's NDC in 2020 revising efforts to limit GHGs by 32% instead of the previous 30% as stipulated in the NDC 2016. To achieve this, YWCA 
in collaboration with other organizations in the county have been restoring Mangroves which absorb more carbon IV oxide in the atmosphere.
