Ms. Eunice Mungatana

Ms. Eunice, a distinguished education professional, holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Philosophy, Religious Studies, and Kiswahili, along with a Master of Education in Administration and Planning from Kenyatta University.

With over three decades of experience in management and community service in Kenya, she currently serves as the Chairperson. Her unwavering passion lies in empowering and advocating for the well-being of young women and girls. She actively educates the community about the dangers of FGM and Gender-Based Violence. Ms. Eunice embodies leadership and commitment.

Ms. Elisheba Siganga

Ms. Elisheba is a dedicated advocate for women’s rights with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Institute of Human Resource Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

She currently serves as the Vice Chairperson and has been a passionate advocate for the rights of young women and girls. Ms. Elisheba brings a unique blend of business acumen and social activism to her leadership role, making her a driving force in the fight for gender equality and empowerment.

Ms. Hopemary Mwende

National Treasurer

Ms. Mwende is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate, specializing in Finance, and she is currently pursuing her Master of Finance and Investing at KCA University, showcasing her dedication to enhancing her financial acumen.

Her commitment to community service is exemplified through her longstanding involvement as a devoted member of YWCA Kenya. Ms. Mwende's global perspective was enriched during her participation in the YWCA exchange program in Norway, where she gained invaluable international experience, which she skillfully integrates into her career pursuits.

In addition to her academic achievements, Ms. Mwende is trained in Peer Education and holds expertise in HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention. This underscores her unwavering dedication to community engagement and health education.

Ms. Deborah Olwal

National General Secretary

Deborah is a seasoned leader and expert in the non-governmental sector, currently serving as the National General Secretary of YWCA Kenya and as the Secretary to the YWCA National Board. With over 20 years of experience, she has an impressive track record of successful projects and board contributions.

Her qualifications include a Master of Science in Development Management, a Masters in Public Health, and a Bachelor of Education (Arts). Deborah is known for her exceptional leadership, strategic prowess, and strong people management skills.

She is currently focused on guiding YWCA Kenya beyond its 2019-2023 strategic plan, aimed at achieving exceptional results in a rapidly evolving environment.
